Many people have heard of aromatherapy, which is a form of therapy that is used to relieve minor ailments and improve health and general welfare. Aromatherapy works hand in hand with the use of essential oils, which are oils extracted from plants, roots, seeds and bark. The incense, neroli and rose have also been a popular treatment for the aging of the skin, as the impact of smoke, poor nutrition and dehydration can cause premature aging. These were originally a way of perfuming the body until its true benefits and properties were studied for the treatment of common ailments and relieve infections. Ancient India have also identified such as Ayurveda (which is a medical treatment using dried herbs) and practice these herbs as an existing form of medical treatment.
