Relaxation Cds

Cant get the mp3 cd to work in the car properly?
my car cd player reads the cd but it skips a lot. and not in the same places either. i use nero 7 and burn at a slow rate and took of the relaxations which is what one forums said to do. it did improve but some of the songs stilll skip. the cd player has written on it, "MP3, ACC, WMA" so i know it plays. i have wasted countless cds over the last day or so and ready to get a bat and gentley smash it to pieces. help would great, thanks 
Mabey the radio cd is jammed.
