Stress Anxiety

Can stress/anxiety/worry/anger bring on many health problems?
I worry alot and am the type of person that always has anxiety and stress and anger in his life. I don't really need it, and I'm seriously trying to become better and not let it get to me, but I'm worried as to what effects this might have on my health.
If anyone can seriously offer me some advice I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!
Can these health problems also be reversed? Thanks.
It would depend on what stresses you have. If it is social issues-friends, job-run!!! If it is health issues-get medical help or adjust how you live. Anger is a wasteful emotion that tears u up from the inside out. Change your surroundings and make your **home** a safe haven and STOP worrying, everything will be ok if you just try. I have lived a very stressful life for about 10+ years and realized that I was going to end up in the hospital or on meds for the rest of my life. I have stepped away from the sour friends and changed my chaotic career. My home is peaceful and I have faith that all will work out in the end. I feel 100% better and are having no more symptoms of anxiety and stress attacks.

Stress Management Classes

Stress Management Class Activity?
Does anyone have a suggestion to a class activity that is fun/interesting and can be incorporated into a 'stress management' theme.
My fourth graders enjoy this. It is simple, but works. Teach them to breath in slowly counting to 5 and then out counting to 8. If you do this for a minute it can medically reduce anxiety. I don't do this for a whole minute with my kids.

I just started two days ago highschool. I am in the AP (Advanced Placement) and program of just two days. I've had two hours of homework, had to read 40 pages of the Bible and do some tests to come. In addition, playing rugby in the gym and i''m not so strong. besides I have to worry about getting up and pressured by higher degrees. at the top of this I feel my world is changing. I knew it was going to highschool bring more work and more responsibility, but my friends are slightly changing. I'm not too stressed out yet but I know it's coming. Please give me some suggestions on how to relieve stress. for example. activities, games, etc. please help
Welcome to the first stage of real life. Unless SA has changed in 2 years AP courses are stress relief, because actually get to learn without having to deal with the knuckleheads in the back that I do not care about school, 40 pages is relative to the source (plus some of its contents can help with stress, if you really read it) and probably chose the rugby, so I quit and go into a non-contact sport or simply running and spend a lot to stay out of the scrum. And if you're happy a nerd, geek or artist to find a chess club, math / club computer, multicultural / language club, band, drama club, science club, debate club, school newspaper, yearbook club, or some other organization in which the new friends, as can their interests. Do not be shy, just push your way through it. It gets better.

Does jogging daily significantly reduce anxiety and physical tension?
I've tried weight training and it doesn't change anything for me. i haven't yet tried jogging, but how long would it take to start working or before i'd start seeing improvements? i'm scared because i get frequent hyperventilation and have constant chest palpitations, but i've tried a number of medications to no success.
Jogging isn't the only form of cardio out there. You could always try the elliptical, which may be easier on your breathing, biking, swimming. You need to do what is enjoyable to you. If it's not, you won't stick with it.
Any form of exercise will release endorphins which will make you feel less stressed and anxious. Talking as little as 10 minutes a day to go on a walk can help release tension as well.
As for how long it would take for you to feel better, it could be as little as a few days! Just keep with it!

Stress Anxiety
What are the physical effects of anxiety and stress?
Can anyone give me a list of the physical effects of anxiety and stress such as fatigue, rashes, etc. I had rashes, dry skin, fatigue, sore throat, colds, and the weak joints and more during the last 3 months and want to know if these symptoms are normal for people with stress and anxiety.
I would like to know the answer to this too. I think I have some pretty bad anxiety problems happening now that only feeds my paranoia about my health. I am constantly symptoms check everything and I always think that something is wrong with me. I believe that anxiety can bring things to you by reducing your body's immune response or brain overstimulation certain channels. For me, It might feel good until it starts worrying about a disease - then I begin to feel itching, pain, stiffness and pain - all of which I attribute to connect and This problem may be experiencing. Can I take a leap of faith by a assume you are paranoid about STDs, HIV perhaps? sound "symptoms" similar to mine, and that's what I constantly worry. So take note of next time, when the symptoms begin to present, you'll probably find that start when you start worrying and disappear when you do not think of them. Remember - Most times there is nothing really wrong with you and you have nothing to worry about. Trying to separate his symptoms and attributed to lifestyle factors that influence them, rather than in one massive conglomerate of disease thats going to kill. Sorry for the long post - just had a lot to say ....
