Stress Meditation

Meditation Question- How to start meditating to relieve stress.?
I am a young male and I would rather relieve stress through meditation through that thing I don't want to say- starts with an M
Please help guide me if you can
Just try not to think about anything. Consentrate on your breathing. Feel yourself breath and if thoughts come into your mind, just let them go. A quiet room without any distractions is good.
