What are some goods methods to reduce stress?

I am a person who is fairly prone to worrying, and I often stress about the future, my study and work plans and other things that really should be trivial. My stress isn't out of control, but I'd like to be able to relax more. Does anybody have any idea on how I could do this?

Thankyou :)

Stress management has three basic components:

1. Self care. This increases your ability to experience stress. make sure you are getting enough sleep, eating healthy food, exercising, having some fun.

2. Relaxation. This reduces the impact of stress and anxiety right now. Try learning a relaxation technique, mediation or deep breathing exercises.

3. Coping. Deal with the sources of your stress. Figure out which you can change and which have to be endured. Change those you can, and use the above two to endure those that are out of your control.

How do I lower my stress tolerance?

I've been under a TON of stress for a really long time, and I've handled it well, but recently my stress level started creeping up again, I barely noticed that I was feeing stressed out, but then I got really sick. The doc has ordered weeks of bedrest.

He told I should use some of that time to think about ways to reduce my stress level. How do I do that when I am so used to being under stress that I am not aware of how bad it is?

Thanks...

Have enough sunlight, eat yogurt and green leafy veggies, avoid fatty and carbo-rich foods, sleep early at night, jog/ work-out, take a walk, take vitamin -C and B-complex.

Above is proven Effective.
