I have blocked a lot of the past and am scared to remember it??
My biological mother left me with her alcoholic mother when I was two weeks old. I have been adopted twice, abused in every way possible, lost my daughter, attempted suicide multiple times. I know some things happened to me, but I have blocked them out. I can't remember what happened when, and have lost huge chunks of time out of my life. I am currently on Cymbalta, and Gabatril, and am not suicidal. I am in therapy, but I'm kind of scared to really talk about things, because I am afraid to remember what really happened. I have enormous anxiety which gives me panic attacks and insomnia. Would hypnosis help? Or should I stop seeing my therapist and leave it all buried even though it affects my every day life? Is there anyone who can help me with this issue please?
