What are the physical effects of anxiety and stress?

Can anyone give me a list of the physical effects of anxiety and stress such as fatigue, rashes, etc. I had rashes, dry skin, fatigue, sore throat, colds, and the weak joints and more during the last 3 months and want to know if these symptoms are normal for people with stress and anxiety.

I would like to know the answer to this too. I think I have some pretty bad anxiety problems happening now that only feeds my paranoia about my health. I am constantly symptoms check everything and I always think that something is wrong with me. I believe that anxiety can bring things to you by reducing your body's immune response or brain overstimulation certain channels. For me, It might feel good until it starts worrying about a disease - then I begin to feel itching, pain, stiffness and pain - all of which I attribute to connect and This problem may be experiencing. Can I take a leap of faith by a assume you are paranoid about STDs, HIV perhaps? sound "symptoms" similar to mine, and that's what I constantly worry. So take note of next time, when the symptoms begin to present, you'll probably find that start when you start worrying and disappear when you do not think of them. Remember - Most times there is nothing really wrong with you and you have nothing to worry about. Trying to separate his symptoms and attributed to lifestyle factors that influence them, rather than in one massive conglomerate of disease thats going to kill. Sorry for the long post - just had a lot to say ....

What do you recommend For stress and anxiety acupuncture or massage therapy?

Which is more affective. I hear that acupuncture is a bit dangerous.

massage.

Deep tissues is amazing, and most weight lifters should get one every now and again even if they do foam roll regularly (self message with a foam roller)

Acupuncture has SOME legitimate benefits, but I KNOW a good massage works wonders, no guess work, no maybes.

Psychologist or Psychiatrist for Chronic Pain?

I'm dealing with chronic pain - associated stress, anxiety, irritability, etc. I have a pain management dr, I've decided its time to see someone for these other issues. Not necessarily looking to find someone to "heal me" although I won turn down any attempts, but I'm looking for someone to help me deal with it all. I really have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to this field of medicine, how to pick a dr, what the difference even is in psychologist and psychiatrist. Any thoughts/ideas/answers are helpful, thanks.

Maybe you can find a pain management support group that you could join. Your pain management doctor might be able to help you with this.
I am sorry you have to live in chronic pain. I hope your doctor will come up with something to help you. Best Wishes to you.
